8-31-1968 Sheridan Drag Racer A Leading Winner
Standing by the “Oregon Shaker” is sponsor Jim Oldham, owner of the Bellevue Store. Car is raced by Jerry Johnson of Sheridan. The car was named after the “Georgia Shaker” owned by George Platt whom Johnson admires as one of the greats of racing. The lettering on the car was done by Charlie Scheckler of McMinnville.
