Confidence that his 1913 Model T would make the trip in Yamhill’s Derby Day Parade Saturday was expressed by John Myers of Yamhill, whose passengers are his daughter, Matilda, and Mrs. Lizzie Perkins of Yamhill. The antique vehicle, supported by the trio’s costumes, captured 1st prize in its division. Myers said the vehicle was one of six manufactured in 1913 in California especially for hilly country.
