Auction at Alderman Farms Saturday for the proposed stadium at Dayton High School included a young calf petted by (l-r) Doris Metzger, an unidentified girl, Liz Lyman and Julie Jones. The auction added about $3000 to the fund, according to stadium Fundraising Chairman Hubert Wilson of Dayton. The goal is $9000 and Wilson said the campaign will wind up in a few months. Dayton’s Pirate Booster Club is conducting the campaign to build the stadium and was assisted by the Dayton Jaycees at the auction.
