Ye Olde Bank will soon be Ye Olde Parking Lot for the present First National Bank of McMinnville at 3rd and Davis streets. The short-time headquarters for the FNB while the new building was being built three years ago, will be torn down to make way for an asphalt parking lot. The contractor of the project, which should be completed in about three months, is Jack Squires. First National Bank of McMinnville is the oldest bank on the west side of the Willamette River and is the oldest independent bank in Oregon. It was established in 1883.
