Kick-off banquet, the annual Girl Scout Father-Daughter event Saturday night, saw Mrs. Stan Bennett, neighborhood chairman, announce Mrs. Jim McDaniel and Ruben Contreras as representative of the Scout leaders and the father participating in the area program. With Mrs. McDaniel are her daughters, Molly and Claudia. Contreras attended the dinner with his daughter, Marietta, and Ina Steele (right). The leaders and fathers were the two groups of honored guests at the event, which launched Girl Scout Week, March 10-16.
