Outstanding facilities are featured at the new location of Jerry Boone’s Studio of Hair Design at 815 N. Adams street in McMinnville. For the past four years, the Studio of Hair Design has been located at 2nd and Adams streets. Boone and his family moved to McMinnville from Myrtle Point seven years ago. He received his basic training in the field of hair styling at Roseburg and has taken advanced study in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Atlanta and Seattle. Among awards and honors Boone has received are first place in the Oregon hair-cutting competition, second in the Northwest hair-cutting competition, the Idaho Master Artist of Hair Styling award and the Oregon Hair Fashion committee plaque.
