Gale Vinton, chairman, Yamhill District, Oregon Trail Chapter, American Red Cross, shows Gordon Hall (right) county fund drive chairman, that his offer of some 10 years still is in effect. Vinton has a standing offer of $100 to anyone who can produce documentary evidence that a Yamhill County hospital has been charged for actual blood. The two $50 bills displayed by Vinton, have been kept available during his tenure of approximately a decade as chapter chairman. The Red Cross blood program assures free blood for any Yamhill County resident.
