Loan application from Harold Sharer (left) for funds from the John Hurl Memorial Fund was examined and approved by James Cline, assistant manager at the McMinnville Branch of the U.S. National Bank of Oregon. With the loan, Sharer, who is a junior and vice president of the McMinnville High FFA chapter, purchased 22 Holstein steer calves, which he is raising.
