Unusual feat--Alan Tindle (right), a sophomore at McMinnville High School culminated seven years of lessons given to him by his father by soloing in two airplanes on his 16th birthday recently. The FAA allows persons to solo only when they reach 16. Tindle will be able to get a license when he is 17.
