Participating members of a panel discussion on “The Smokeless Generation” are McMinnville High students (l-r) Ron Lane, Nancy Dunckel, Mark Hyder, Patti Turner and Mike Smithey. Hyder is holding an apothecary scale which is balancing “Health and Money” against “Ashes and Butts.” The scale symbolizes the cost involved if one has the smoking habit. The discussion will take place March 6, starting at 8 p.m. in the St. James Hall in McMinnville and is open to the public.
