Business and Professional Women honored the McMinnville Police department Monday evening at the Palm Cafe with Chief Wayne Lofton as guest speaker. Lidia Morrison, police matron, (left) is a BPW member. Chairman of the event was Alice Mullikin (center). Chief Lofton reported that McMinnville is comparatively free of marijuana traffic and urged an alert to maintain this by reporting instances to the department.
