Local Firemen with 20 years or more in the McMinnville department represent a grand total of 491 years of experience, or an average of nearly 29 years for the 17 men. At last week’s meeting were these 20-year men (l-r): Harold Messinger, 42 years; Tom Erickson, 21; Carl Trent, 28; Charley Price, 34; Mel Phelps, 27; Roswell Rossner, 33; Lee R. “Cap” Maloney, 38; Sandy Brown, 29; Alvie Wilson, 30; Lynn Triplett, 27; Nolan Sweeney, 21; Don Fink 20; Lowell Boyce, 28; and John Sauter, 27. Not able to be present were Ralph Farnham, 38; Milt Robins, 21; and Dick Blenkinsop, 27 years.
