Officers of the newly-formed Association of Churches in McMinnville met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James McDaniel Thursday evening to discuss plans for the association. Purpose of the group is to “express the vitality of corporate strength as churches and to serve God and the community more effectively.” Officers are (l-r) Father Charles Borho, secretary; Mrs. McDaniel, vice-chairman; and Rev. James M. Brown, chairman. Seated is Mrs. Richard A. Menefee, treasurer. The association was formed as the result of a two-year study by the Inter-Church Group.
