Gravel from a Joe Bernert Towing Company, Inc. barge is unloaded at the Yamhill River operation of the Burch Concrete and apply company at Dayton. Nearly 800 tons of rock are moved some six miles on each barge in the trip to the gravel dredging operation about a mile south on the Willamette from the mouth of the Yamhill.
