ALTA FESCUE grass seed fame is expected to grow as the result of this shipment of 820 pounds of fescue seed to various county agents in the state of Missouri recently. Alta Fescue is becoming an increasingly important crop in this region. The seed was purchased by Oregon Alta Fescue Growers association and shipped by Buchanan & Cellers Grain Co. Stan Cellers is shown examining one of the “Fescue to the Rescue” booklets enclosed in each sack of seed.
