1957-4-2 9662br/br/ Willamina- Scoutmaster Herbert Rydell of Troop 254 took boys from the troop on a weekend camping trip at the coast. The unit pitched camp at Sand Lake. At low tide they visited the clam beds and later eagerly consumed the catch. The group returned early Sunday because of inclement weather. There were 17 boys in the troop making the trip with Ken Ramsey, Harold Caligan, Earl Dcikey and Rydell furnishing transporation.
