February 11, 1957br/ br/RESULTS OF A Boy Scout drive to collect discarded household goods and clothing for Goodwill Industries can be seen as these scouts load a truck with bags they have gathered. More than 900 Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Explorer Scouts throughout Yamhill county distributed 6000 Goodwill bags a week ago and collected them filled with contributions Saturday. Scouts from Troop 233 in McMinnviIle are shown packing bags in a nearly-filled truck. They are some of the 260 Scouts who participated in the drive here. From the left are Gilbert Thornley, Jack Prather, Dick Ross, Allan Baker, Mike McFee and Richard Sterrett, standing at front. The boys are working at City Transfer company where Jacob Kaiser, owner, has donated storage space and use of the truck. He has participated in the program for the past several years, Elsewhere in the county, bags will be delivered by Porter Truck Lines for the Dayton and Lafayette area and by Newberg Auto Freight in Newberg. Collections in other areas are at local fire departments.
