October 14, 1957br/Land conservation program in Yamhill County for 1958 was proposed by these members of the county agricultural stabilization and conservation committee at a meeting Friday afternoon on the 4-H building. They are, from left, Adolf Wohlegemuth of Newberg, chairman; Louie Gross and Wayne Roberts, count agents; George Webster of Dayton, permanent cover crops; Lloyd Dumdi and Carl Peterson, Carlton, brush control; Gene McKinley of Sheridan, Ed Laird, soil conservation service, and Ivan Dent of Sheridan. McKinley and Dent reported on dams and water and erosion control.
