December 3, 1957br/First turkey entered in the 16th Pacific Coast Turkey exhibit this morning was this bird from the flock of Larry and Ronnie Parr, Rt. 2, McMinnville. This bird tipped the scales at 39 frac14; pounds as Larry kept him steady and Alvin Olson checked the weight. Last year Ronnie brought in the first Yamhill County entry. Both youths are members of the Dayton High School chapter, Future Farmers of America.
