July 27, 1957br/Webfoot -- Tough to buy are beautiful Nectarberries, such as are shown here in a box held by Mrs. Russell May, The berries are a comparatively new fruit, a cross between standard berries. They resemble the flavor and color of loganberries with the size of youngberries. The centers are softer and more palatable than most varieties. Many who have tried prefer them for pies and especially for freezing. Mr. and Mrs. May have a few vines which produced well this year but the crop was absorbed mostly by the local residents
