January 19, 1957br/Lafayette -- These piles supporting the approach to the old bridge over the Yamhill River south of Lafayette will give way this year to an earth fill. ldquo;Road Closedrdquo; signs have gone up on the Lafayette-Hopewell highway, traffic being diverted through McMinnville or Dayton. The center of the bridge will be a concrete and steel structure.
