January 24, 1957br/First graders at Cook school raise their hands at the sound of a tone during audiometer tests of hearing ability. Students first are tested in groups of ten, then are given individual examinations if a hearing loss is indicated. All McMinnville elementary school students will be tested and first graders and others who had hearing difficulties last year will be tested in all Yamhill county schools.
