March 15, 1957br/LAFAYETTE -mdash; Business was about normal at the Lafayette post office on its 106th anniversary Thursday with Postmaster J. E. Schuetze selling stamps at the window and Mrs. Robert Trudo, clerk, sorting mail. The large window and numerous boxes are in sharp contrast to the old window shown in another picture. The office, which has been in many locations in the city, has been in continuous operation longer than any other in Yamhill county.
