December 19, 1957br/Magnetic attraction of Santa Claus at this time of year may have been what caused the pinnacle on top of Pioneer Hall at Linfield College to take on this declination toward the North Pole. More scientific minds, however, link the odd angle with the high wind Monday night which also gave the campus flagpole a horizontal declination.
