Getting acquainted with two new teachers at Cook School before the Parent Teacher Association meeting Monday night was Mrs. A.J. Whealdon, president of the PTA, left. The teachers are Mrs. Euginia Matches, center, a second grade teacher who has lived in McMinnville since 1937 and has been teaching in Willamina, and Mrs. Stella L. Burke, fourth grade, who came to McMinnville last June after teaching at Annie Wright seminary in Tacoma, Wash.
