Headed for the Sky--This golden Bantam corn, raised by G.C. Markee of North Irving street, McMinnville, seemed to “just shot up” while he was away for a week. The corn, which has reached a height of about eight feet, received no water while he was gone during the extremely hot weather of the past few weeks.
