Home Economics Woman of the Year was the title bestowed upon Mrs. Ralph Deck of Carlton, at the Yamhill county Homemakers festival Wednesday. Mrs. Robert Leighton of Yamhill, left, inducted Mrs. Deck at the annual festival in the county fair building, as more than 400 homemakers gathered to show and look at work done by extension units from throughout the county.
