Precarious Perch is ascended by Dave Knell, Yamhill, as he aids in the preparation of the Yamhill Chamber of Commerce booth in the Commercial Exhibit building on the county fairgrounds on Lafayette avenue. More than 30 commercial firms in Yamhill county are readying booths for the Thursday opening of the county fair, which will run through Saturday evening. According to Harold Lewis, this year's fair manager, the 1956 fair will be the biggest ever held in the county, with more livestock exhibits and a wider variety of divisions for county fair entrants.
