Canning operations are completed by three members of the Dayton PTA, Friday afternoon at Buckley’s cannery in Newberg. From left to right are Mrs. Robert Tedd, Mrs. David Saucy and Mrs. Clair Reichstein. Other women who helped can the beans for Dayton Grade School lunch program included Mrs. Ari Launer, Mrs. Louis Steinlicht, Mrs. Wayne Owens, Mrs. Adolph Hraba, Mrs. Harvey Stoller and Mrs. Wilbur Stoller. The beans will be used in the Dayton Elementary School lunch program to cut down federal aid for the program.
