Firemen Hear Of Home Inspection Plan
Challenge to a two-county inspection of homes for prevention of fires was given at a meeting of the Polk-Yamhill County Firemen's Association Friday night In the McMinnville fire hall by Chief Ivan Pearson. Speakers at the meeting were, from left, William Fitzgerald, Seattle fire chief and president of the International Association of Fire Chiefs; Jay W. Stevens, chief of the prevention division, National Board of Fire Underwriters; Mayor J. A. Jonasson, Chief Pearson and Chief Edward Grenfell of Portland.
