All dressed up and ready to go, these youngsters wait their turn as little Doug Blensly dives head first into a tub of water. The children are bobbing for apples at a Halloween party held by Christy Fredricks and Forest Garrigus at the Garrigus home, 1137 North Baker Street. Among those attending were, from left in front, Doug, Mark Hyder, Forest, Stuart Gunness, Christy and Robby Fredricks and from the left at rear, Doug Fredricks, Terry Miller, and Marcia and Karen Teutsch. Youngsters throughout Yamhill County attended similar Halloween parties, then braved the rain for traditional “trick or treat” visits to neighbors.
