[Sept. 15, 1956] Just to make sure they smell as pretty as they look, Terry Allen Patton sniffs a prize-winning arrangement of flowers at the annual fall flower and garden show sponsored by the Men’s Garden Club of McMinnville. The arrangement at right, by Hobby Gardeners of McMinnville, won first place and the one at left, arranged by the McMinnville Women’s Garden club, took second place. The show opened Friday and continued today in a former automobile showroom at Second and Ford streets. Terry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Patton.
