Plans formulated- Chief of Police Jack W. Stafford and Amity Mayor Dr. Charles H. Law discuss plans for this organization of the amity Boy’s Club, slated to hold its first meeting before school opens. Stafford will be the club’s instructor and meetings will be held in the Amity grade school gymnasium, where the club will have a .22 caliber rifle range and access to the basketball court. The project is backed by the mayor and city council to the full extent, and Stafford is seeking public donations to purchase equipment for the club.
