Dog Draws Attention From Circus Acts
These youngsters attending the Shrine circus in the McMinnville armory had trouble deciding whether to watch activity in the circus ring or to dote over a trained dog which strayed from one of the acts. The dogs left the act to make friends with the audience, but other “actors” in the troupe continued with the performance. Other features of the two-hour show included trained elephants, clowns and aerialists. Two performances were presented Sunday, with proceeds going to charitable activities of the Yamhill County Shrine Club.
