Highway Project Underway; Fill to Replace Old Bridge
COZINE CREEK BRIDGE--An earthen fill will replace this 31 year old bridge next summer as 99W from Baker street to Pringle's corner is transformed into a long awaited super four lane highway. A giant culvert 178 feet long will be laid in the trench just cut in the earth underneath the present structure. It will carry the waters of Cozine creek through the fill. An estimated 48,689 cubic yards of dirt will be necessary to raise the fill to grade level for the highway.
