MANY TONS OF LIME will be spread on Yamhill County farms this year, and much of it will all come from above location. Shown in the Picture are Bob Rodgers, left. and Newton Aschim, employees of the Burlingham-Meeker Lime Co. of Amity, with the loading machinery used to transfer the lime from the stockpiles to the trucks. Many farmers in this area are taking advantage of the AAA assistance to improve the productivity of their land.
