THIS BURNED AND TWISTED mass of metal is all that remains of a light airplane from which two McMinnville flyers escaped with but minor bumps and bruises after it caught fire in the air. Cal Savage and Norm Reed "bailed out" of the burning ship last Saturday as it touched the ground at the local airport. Both rolled many feet along the turf beside the paved runway.
