Soft Shoulder-this Yamhill county gravel truck mired in the soft shoulder as it pulled off Lafayette Avenue in McMinnville Monday. The truck, pulling the grader at far right, was hauling gravel for riverside road. Riverside was one of many roads in the county which needed more gravel as the result of damage caused by the recent freeze. Another loaded gravel truck pulled the mired vehicle to firmer ground a few minutes after this picture was taken.
