Valley Lily Growers Near Final Stage if Experiment In Raising Bulbs in Area
Robert W. Travis, photographed at the “mother bed” of Easter Lilies in the yard of his home on North Cowls, is one of about 20 lily growers, pioneering with the cultivation of similar plants in this section of the state. The local gardener also owns a third of an acre of bulbs growing on a lot on Yamhill Street.
