1943-11-18, Local WAC Recruiter Learns Needs of Corps, "Mrs. Betty Warren, local recruiter for the Women's army corps, (second from right) learns about the needs of WACs from the personnel of the WAC Carnival Carivan which visited McMinnville Monday and Tuesday in the interest of securing recruits for the nation-wide "all-states" battle casualty replacement program. The corps seeks 13 women trainees to replace the Yamhill county men who have been reported killed or missing in action.
