The wild annual Northwest Original Turkey Races were held as usual during the Turkey-Rama celebration Saturday and drew the largest crowd ever, estimated at about 2500 persons by chamber officials. Winner of the heat was Ernest Amundsen of Newberg, with trainer John Pocheco.
