Kiwanians Honor New Citizens With Naturalization Program
Grateful new citizen is Ruben Contreras, at right, showing Circuit Judge Arlie G. Walker the flags presented to him and 16 other honored guest at the annual Naturalization Day program of Kiwanis Club yesterday. At left is Mrs. Contreras, who directs the McMinnville Twirlerette baton group. Contreras was chosen to respond to the greetings at the welcome to new citizens from seven patriotic fraternal and service groups at the annual program, originated 25 years ago by Judge Walker.
