Unusual award for Red Cross Advanced Swimmer was presented to Mrs. Robert Miller, McMinnville, Tuesday evening at a McMinnville Pools party program for the Safeway Employees association of 13 company stores in this area. A large number of employees and their families saw Mrs. Miller receive the award from county Red Cross Executive Secretary S.J. Osborne, who said it is the first time he has presented this badge. Tye Steinbach, pools coach said this was the second Advanced Swimmer badge he has recommended.
