Prunes and broken crates are strewn along the shoulder of highway 99W between the Dayton scales and Dundee where a pickup truck was involved in an accident about 5 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle, to the rear at left, was driven by Richard Davis of Portland. It apparently went out of control on a curve and was the only vehicle involved in the accident, according to state police. Davis apparently was not injured seriously.
