Entered in Forest Grove’s annual barber shop contest is this quartet of McMinnville High School singers known as the Walnut City Four. Members of the quartet are, from, left, Jerry Wilkison, first tenor; Dick Elliott, second tenor; Elliott Cummins, baritone, and Ray Brown, bass. Among the quartets against which they will compete are the Templemen of Portland’s First Baptist Church, third place winners in 1957.
