April 12, 1957br/Dripping wet from a dunking in the McMinnville Swimming Pool, Tye Steinbach, pool manager, holds a birthday cake given to him by members of the McMinnville Swim Club team during a surprise party. Team members threw Steinbach into the pool, then gave him the cake and gifts following team practice Thursday night. The cake, made by Mrs. L.D. Reavis, was decorated to resemble a swimming pool and was complete with swimmers made of pipe cleaners.
