4-25-1955 School Bond Issue to See Heavy Vote
Crowded play space is another argument for additional school, say those favoring issuance of $575,000 junior high school bond issue. Above, these young men’s fancy turns to football. But there are just too many players for the space provided. When weather permits, children from the third grade division of the high school use this deadend street in front of the high school for a play area. Later, when the grass is dry, the grassy areas by the tennis courts and behind the junior high school gymnasium will be used for two groups. No playground equipment will be provided since this situation is temporary. During the rainy season, both high school and junior high gymnasiums are used by the smaller children for a morning and afternoon play period during the 15 minute period in which order students are dressing for gym activities
