1938-8-4_Turkey raising; corn unloaded
1938-8-4, For Turkey Day Turkeys,
No everyday occurrence is the arrival of a carload of shelled corn on McMinnville's railroad front but this week 40 tons came to Clair Reed, turkey grower whose farm lies between McMinnville and Dayton. Unloading the shipment from Sioux City, Ia., were Morris Brown (left), Lawrence New (standing in the car door), and Norman Reed.
