July 16, 1957br/Carlton-George Robertson receives keys to a jewelry store from his father, James Robertson, as the business changes hands from father to son. The younger Robertson took charge of the business July 1, His father began working in the W. A. Howe store as a jeweler in 1904 and started his own store four years later, He will continue to operate his optometry office at the same location. New owner of the business has been associated with his father since graduation from high school in 1939, He served two years in the army, then attended Kansas City School of Watch Making in Missouri. He returned to work in Carlton in 1948.
