Several area youths who volunteered to assist in making up the annual Elks Christmas baskets worked several hours Dec. 23 getting them ready for distribution to needy families in the county. Some 200 of the baskets were distributed by members of the Elks Lodge Tuesday morning. This is the 50th year the program has been sponsored by the local lodge.
